Spanish Fortress Wedding
From the moment the bride and groom began getting ready at the Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort, to the heartfelt and intimate wedding ceremony at the breathtaking Fortica Fortress, everything about this special day was simply beautiful. As a photographer, I had the privilege of capturing these precious moments against the stunning backdrop of the city of Hvar and the idyllic Paklini islands.
One of the things that sets my photography style apart is my emphasis on documenting the day as it unfolds, just like a documentary. I believe this approach captures the true essence and emotions of the wedding day, preserving them for a lifetime. Rather than posing every shot, I prefer to capture candid moments that reflect the couple’s personalities and the genuine atmosphere of the event.
In addition to capturing the candid moments, I also incorporate editorial-style photography into my work. This means that I pay attention to the details, the overall aesthetic, and the storytelling aspect of the wedding day. From the exquisite floral arrangements to the elegantly designed wedding cake, I ensure that every element is beautifully showcased in the photographs.
For this particular wedding, the outdoor setting of Fortica Fortress provided an extraordinary backdrop for the celebration. As the day transitioned into night, the atmosphere became even more enchanting, with the city lights of Hvar twinkling in the background. The dance floor was set up on the fortress grounds, creating a truly remarkable party under the stars.
